Music Millennium Marketing


 

Background

Music Millennium has all the signs of a prestigious small business; longtime loyal fans, national recognition, and a famous owner. Before joining the store had promotions and marketing in-house. However not many had the vision to set up a marketing plan or give the store a brand look.

Action

My 3-step plan:

1) Determine Music Millennium's brand style and art direction and have it reflected in all marketing collateral and advertisements.

2) Analyze the market, operations, and customer habits to figure out the best ways to communicate effectively.

3) Developing quality content on all available platforms for a consistent style, tone, on a schedule.

Result

The response to the new consitant marketing brought increased interaction with the store brand. It gave loyal customers a chance to know what expect for the upcoming releases. Additioanlly it was praised by other staff and management on the great work done to promote an already legendary store.

 

Marketing Strategy

Music Millennium had a outlets for marketing and topics to market. The key to the marketing strategy was leveraging our key touchpoints. But also keeping relevant topics for maximum brand awareness.

Art Direction

Music Millennium did not have a formal marketing guide or style guide. My experience with art direction allowed me to choose a typeface, brand colors, and communication style.


Content quality

Social Media makes up 35% of the overall marketing operations. Content previously was made with an iPhone. The current content creation is crafted with quality and strategy.
